Several years ago a playground bench was donated to Lake Murray Elementary from the proceeds raised during a Hewitt 5K event. This playground bench is utilized by many teachers and students during recess time. Lake Murray Elementary is where Parker and Haley Hewitt would have attended school. Even though the playground bench has been in place for quite some time now, the Hewitt Foundation recently had the opportunity to install a plaque on the playground bench in memory of Parker and Haley Hewitt. This playground bench is even more special now with the plaque in place because Parker and Haley’s younger siblings, Ellington (pictured) & Emerson, will be able to see this plaque during recess and be able to tell their friends and teachers about their big brother & sister.
