The Hewitt Foundation was able to assist in the renovations project of the basketball courts at Chapin Baptist Church. New adjustable basketball goals were installed so the people of all ages could benefit from this area on the church property. The basketball court was painted to match the look of a traditional basketball court so those playing could learn the game properly. Security cameras were installed to protect this area and keep it safe at all times for everyone who uses it. “Dusk to dawn” style lights were install by MCEC to allow others maximum playing time in this area.
The basketball court at Chapin Baptist is now an active area on the church property with lots of use. Most nights you can find groups of people, from all ages, running up and down the courts enjoying a game of basketball and fellowship. Stop by for yourself and see this wonderful area on the church campus of Chapin Baptist.
