Stay tuned for event date… On 11/8/17, the Hewitt Foundation installed its third Little Free Library and the very first Little Free Library in Newberry, SC at Wise St Park. This library will be a great addition to the area and will provide books for all ages. The Executive Director of Newberry County Literacy Council, Barbara Chapman, will help the Hewitt Foundation maintain a great supply of reading materials for the kids and youth in the area. Glad to have her partnership with the Hewitt Foundation. This winter the Hewitt Foundation will be collecting new blankets for We Care in Chapin. Our goal is to collect 300 new blankets for the children in the community. Drop off locations include the Wired Goat Cafe in Chapin at 908 Chapin Rd. With your help, we can provide warmth with these blankets and show others the love of Jesus. If you have any questions, please contact hewittfoundation@gmail.com. |
