The Hewitt Foundation was made aware by Irmo Elementary that a house fire destroyed everything for an Irmo family.  The Hewitt Foundation was able to provide the child of the family 6 outfits, a pair of shoes, a stuffed animal, a fleece jacket, a devotion book, several toys and more. The parents of the family received a blanket, a devotion book and $200 to Belk to get some clothes for themselves. The Hewitt Foundation was also able to provide a gift card to Frankie’s Fun Park so one day soon the family can have a day of fun to get their mind off of this tragic circumstance.

The family is now staying with friends but they have a long road ahead of them. We are thankful there weren’t any injuries or casualties during this tragic circumstance.  Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
