Not the way it should be…..somethings in life come and are just plain not the way it should be.
These names represent three sweet girls who recently lost their mommy. Please join us in prayer for them as they learn to navigate the road map of grief. Pray for them to cling to Jesus all of their days.

CARE. That’s a huge word to say to someone going through the unimaginable. Prayer is the other one that is powerful and meaningful. Caring for this family and praying for them without ceasing. Thankful that through prayer our good Father can show comfort and peace more than you can ever get from anyone else.

“The unfolding of Your words gives light”. Praying for the sweet woman who received this special journal and devotion book to feel awakened with His love, care and comfort through going through heartbreak and disappointment that life sometimes brings. Praying she clings to Him.

Cancer. It’s not any fun. It’s a nasty word and when you hear it, your heart sinks. But, when you hear this word in relation to a child, your eyes fill up with tears. Let’s pray together for Hampton, he is 4 years old and started Chemo as of October 2018. The Hewitt Foundation was able to deliver this INCREDIBLE balloon to an incredible family who is keeping their eyes on Jesus through this journey. The Hewitt Foundation was also able to provide a gift card to Frankie’s Fun Park for a family fun distraction day, a Build-A-Bear gift card for Hampton to create a snuggly companion, a Fusco’s gift card to stock up their fridge or freezer of prepared meals and a few other fun surprises for everyone to enjoy. The neat thing is that when we got to their home to deliver the package, our goal was to drop it off at the front porch without disturbing them. However, the family was returning from a recent hospital visit and arrived at their house the same time as us! God’s timing was perfect which allowed us to see Hampton smile when he saw his balloon and we were able to give his sweet momma a hug.
Please join us in prayer for Hampton. God can do all things, He can bring complete healing, we are praying that He knocks the socks off the doctors with His mighty miracle work.

Grief makes your sight and mind “fuzzy” sometimes. Thankful that if we put our focus on our loving Father that He will keep guiding us and helping us get through each day.
